On May 14, author Kathleen Yasas visited Blytheville, Arkansas for a book signing and discussion about her new novel,
If Thine Eye Be Evil. She once lived and worked Blythevile, which is also the town on which the first half of the book is loosely based. The signing was held at the nationally-known That Bookstore in Blytheville (www.tbib.com), owned and operated by the legendary Mary Gay Shipley.

On Friday, May 1st, 2009, Friends of the Library, from the Sylmar Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library system, held a book sale of a wonderful murder mystery entitled: If Thine Eye Be Evil by Kathleen Yasas. Thanks to the author, who donated several signed copies of her book, we raised money towards helping the library. We had a good time and inspired many people to check out the authors's website and to find out more about her next novel.
Throughout the day, many visitors asked if I was the author. After the third or fourth inquiry, I almost said YES - I mean, why not? Actors have body doubles, maybe authors can, too =)
Thanks again to Ms. Yasas,
Antoinette Frankum
